How long does setup actually take?
Most firms are fully set up in under an hour. Mavin is built specifically for professional services workflows, so there's no custom configuration required to get the core features running. A guided onboarding session is included with every trial.
What counts as a 'team member'?
Anyone who logs in to Mavin — project managers, account managers, and senior staff. Clients accessing their portal via shared link do not count toward your seat limit.
We're already using Monday.com. Is switching painful?
We offer a free data migration on all Professional and Enterprise plans. Your project history, client list, and billing milestones move over cleanly. Most firms complete the transition in an afternoon.
Do clients need to create accounts to use their portal?
No. Clients access their project portal via a secure link — no passwords, no accounts to manage. You control what they see and can revoke access at any time.
Does Mavin connect to QuickBooks or Stripe?
Yes. Native integrations with QuickBooks Online and Stripe are included in the Professional plan and above. Billing milestone events can automatically queue an invoice or charge in both platforms.
Can I change plans as my team grows?
Yes — upgrade or downgrade at any time. When you upgrade, you're prorated immediately and get access to the new features right away. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
Is my data secure?
Mavin is SOC 2 Type II certified and undergoes annual third-party security audits. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We maintain 99.9% uptime backed by an SLA on Enterprise plans.
What happens if I outgrow the Professional plan?
Enterprise plans are available for firms with more than 50 team members. We'll work with you on pricing, custom onboarding, and any specific compliance or API requirements.
